Franscé Verdeuzeldonk communicatie-advice

Vrîmd: a word that originates from my region of North Brabant, in The Netherlands, meaning “different…not your average kind of person.” I like to think it encapsulates my approach to communications.

Expertise
Over the past 20 years I have become expert in gaining free publicity for companies and pressure groups, focusing mainly on the Dutch media market.

I work with clients to identify and develop stories and events to generate increased media attention as part of an overall public affairs and public relations strategy. I thrive in fast-moving, turbulent situations where media troubleshooting is the objective.

Having worked as spokesperson for the largest energy and water company in The Netherlands as well as chief press officer for Greenpeace, I am equally at home talking the language of finance or street-level campaigning.

Strengths
  • understanding the language of technical experts, business people and politicians but being able to translate this into the language of the media
  • going in search of mediagenic ideas for stories and events rather than simply waiting for information to come along. And bringing together the right people to make things happen
  • helping clients by tapping into my extensive network of journalistic contacts and communications professionals
  • combining the tenacity of a pitbull with a flair for getting the best out of people

I am available for short-term communications projects or to fill longer-term interim positions.
